In anticipation of schooless summer days, Ev has been sharing a few things she’d like to do, and so, we have begun our first bucket list. It’s nice to know I am not the only one looking for a break from the daily grind.
With a washed gelato pint and paper scraps, we have accomplished our first first goal: the bucket list itself!
The Florida Everglades may be the most interesting to do, but we hope to paint our breakfast table and transplant the orchids as well!
I’d like to think this an early lesson on setting goals. Finding objects to re-use without purchasing items for every project must stretch the problem-solving muscle. And, if yours is learning to write, a list is fun practice. For beginners, write the words with a highlighter for them to trace over in pencil, and for the further along write the word for them to copy on a separate scrap.
I’d love to hear your summer lists!
Catch up on the sleep- mine and Sasha’s- will be the highest on the list. We will actually start making one, what a great idea.
I hope Orlando Florida and old friends are also up there:)
